Harry Potter Birthday

My sister said she was being Ginny Weasley… I think she looks more like a Beauxbatons student. :)

My wands I made. I tried to make them look like different character wands.

 Chocolate Frogs

In our family there has been a stream of themed Birthdays. When we were planning my brother-in-laws birthday in September my sister and I decided it would be a Harry Potter birthday.

I really went all out for this one. I made wands from scratch (here is an Idea of how to make wands at You Seriously Made That. I did mine a little differently.), a trivia game, chocolate frogs with boxes, and Bertie Botts boxes as well.
Not to mention the killer Happy Birthday sign in Harry Potter font. That's right... we are nerds. I also made him a Hogwarts acceptance letter.

You can get a tutorial for a Hogwarts letter at Oh MishkaJust follow the link all the directions are there.

You can also download Harry Potter fonts from mugglenet.com just go to the MEDIA tab then click on Fonts. That is how I made the Happy Birthday sign & letter.

Hope you enjoyed this post!!

Craft Bazaar

These boards aren't in the pictures below. (Train Board is a chalk board.)

My parents and I got together and did the Holiday Craft Bazaar in Middleton. I made various home decor and hair accessories. My Dad did homemade bird houses, step stools for children, and various wooden boxes. I'm posting to show how much fun it was, AND to let all of you know that if you see something you like we have most of our craft still left over. It wasn't a good selling day, BUT that just gives you the opportunity to get dibs on whatever you like.

 Our set up.

The items on the step stools are things I made. The step stools can be custom made by my Dad if you want a specific color let me know I can have him make one. The step stools are $20.

I made this banner the night before it only took me an hour!! I pretty much love it.

 Hats and hair accessories.

Fun boards and frames.

So again if you see anything you like let me know! Thanks for stopping by.
